From horse-world experience. For horse-world use.
RYDAN was born out of many years of experience with horses. We, the founders, are familiar with the world for which we develop our products: everyday life in the stable, grazing, trail rides, competitions, transport, recovery periods following injuries, and the needs of sensitive and older horses. We are successful competitive riders and passionate recreational riders, as well as long-time breeders and trainers. Our daily work with horses led us to ask the question:

Why do we know so little about our horses—especially when we’re not with them?
RYDAN helps us expand our knowledge. It is not a technological product that is disconnected from everyday life. It is not a system that replaces human experience. Rather, it is a tool that helps us look more closely, recognize changes earlier, and better support horses.
For riders, breeders, and all horse lovers who aren’t just looking for data—but for greater certainty, understanding, and confidence in working with their horses.
We knew the problem from our own everyday experience with horses.
Important changes often only become visible once they are already clearly pronounced. Between training, the stable and the pasture, there is still no continuous view of the horse. Existing solutions mainly capture individual moments or training data – not the everyday life in between.
RYDAN was born from this gap.Three founders combine technology and product experience, hands-on equestrian expertise, and market and strategic insight. Together, we are developing a system that continuously detects relevant changes and turns them into clear, useful information for horse owners and caretakers.
Today, we are building the platform for continuous horse monitoring. RYDAN brings together activity, rest, location and, over time, additional health-related information. Attachment, horse welfare, sensor performance, connectivity and data quality are currently being validated under real-world conditions. More about our validation. →
